The vacuum hose on the EGR valve goes to the EVR (EGR Vacuum Regulator) solenoid which should be located on the rear face of the left (passenger) strut tower, above the TAB and TAD solenoids. EGR is not functonal when the engine is cold, or at idle, or at WOT. EGR is functional during warm cruise only.
